Meet Cole, the stay-at-home mom behind Cole's Corner and Creations, who loves sewing, baking, and family life.

Hi, I'm Cole!

I'm a stay-at-home mom with a serious love for sewing, baking, and playing with my kids. This blog is where I share the projects that fill my days — from children's clothing and doll clothes to quilts, costumes, and the occasional batch of cookies.

My three wonderful kiddos keep me busy and inspired. My daughters Lucy and Ella are often my muses (and sometimes my fit models!), and my son William keeps me on my toes with his own requests — usually raglan shirts and the like.

Why I Sew

Sewing has always been a part of my life. Some of my favorite fabric has come from my Granny's basement stash — there's something special about turning a piece of family history into something new. I love the whole process: picking out patterns, choosing fabric, and watching a flat piece of cloth become a garment my kids actually want to wear.

Over the years I've designed my own patterns under the Cole's Corner and Creations Patterns label, including the Sabrina Skinny Pants, Hi Low Ruffle Skirt, Too Cute Bias Tank Top, and Too Cute Ruched Shorts. I've also loved sewing with patterns from brands like Made for Mermaids, Patterns for Pirates, Jalie, and Kwik Sew.

What You'll Find Here

This blog is a mix of tutorials, pattern reviews, sew-a-longs, and peeks into my family sewing adventures. I've hosted sew-a-longs like the Sabrina Skinny Pants Sew-a-long, participated in blog tours including the Made for Mermaids Back to School Blog Tour and the Sew Americana Blog Tour, and shared plenty of tips along the way through my Tuesday's Tips series.

Doll clothes — especially American Girl doll projects — hold a special place in my heart. Costumes, pageant dresses, holiday sewing, quilts, embroidery, and home décor all make appearances too. If it involves fabric and thread, I've probably tried it!
